FX.co ★ Greek Jobless Rate Falls to Over 16-Year Low

In July 2025, Greece's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate declined to 8%, down from a revised 9% in June. This represents the lowest unemployment rate the country has experienced since November 2008. The number of unemployed individuals decreased by 22,400 from the previous month, reaching a total of 380,900. Concurrently, employment figures showed an increase, with 46,100 more people employed, bringing the total number of employed individuals to 4.4 million. Additionally, the number of individuals classified as outside the labor force decreased by 26,000, totaling 2.983 million.
