European Stocks Head for Cautious Open

European equity markets were poised for a cautious start on Friday, as global technology stocks came under renewed pressure amid growing doubts about the sustainability of AI-related investment. Rising concerns over AI-driven disruption also weighed on sectors including logistics, commercial real estate, and financials. On the macroeconomic front, investors will be watching German wholesale price data, Spanish inflation figures, and a series of Eurozone releases covering trade, employment, and GDP. Corporate results are expected from Safran, NatWest, Adyen, and others. In premarket trading, futures on the Euro Stoxx 50 and Stoxx 600 were flat to slightly higher, pointing to a guarded opening for the session.
