Mid-February data releases will further shape market perceptions of the global economy amid ongoing uncertainty over trade, monetary policy, and fiscal plans by major economies. The Federal Reserve will publish minutes from its most recent meeting, at which it paused its rate-cutting cycle. In the United States, fourth-quarter GDP figures will be released alongside new data on personal income and expenditures.

In Canada, the latest inflation figures are due, while in Europe, updated PMI readings will provide fresh insight into leading indicators for the region’s largest economies. In Asia, China’s New Year holidays will quiet domestic data flow, shifting attention to Japan’s fourth-quarter GDP and inflation releases. The Reserve Bank of Australia will also publish the minutes of its latest policy meeting.

On the corporate side, earnings reports will span a wide range of sectors, with results expected from Walmart, Airbus, Newmont, BHP, Palo Alto Networks, Booking Holdings, Analog Devices, Warner Bros, and Air Liquide.
