Tunisia GDP Annual Growth Advances to 2.7% in Q4

Tunisia’s GDP expanded by 2.7% year-on-year in the fourth quarter of 2025, up from 2.4% in the previous quarter. Growth accelerated in several key sectors, including agriculture, forestry, and fishing (12.3% vs. 11.9% in Q3); construction (4.1% vs. 2.1%); manufacture of other non-metallic mineral products (4.2% vs. 1.7%); production and distribution of gas (10.6% vs. 5.8%); trade and repair services (2.1% vs. 1.5%); accommodation and catering (7.2% vs. 7.1%); and information and communication (3.7% vs. 2.7%).

By contrast, growth in the mining sector eased (12.8% vs. 31.7%), as did activity in chemical industries (1.3% vs. 3.4%) and transport and storage (0.2% vs. 0.3%). On a quarterly basis, GDP rose 1.0%, following flat growth in the previous three-month period. For the full year 2025, Tunisia’s economy grew by 2.5%.
