Taiwan’s Monthly CPI Inflation Edges Up to 0.19% in February

Taiwan’s consumer price index (CPI) rose 0.19% month-over-month in February 2026, up slightly from a 0.15% increase in January 2026, according to data updated on 6 March 2026. The figures show a modest acceleration in price growth on a sequential basis.

On a month-over-month comparison, February’s reading reflects a stronger pace of inflation than in the previous period, when January’s 0.15% gain was measured against December. The data indicate that while inflationary pressures remain contained, they are trending marginally higher at the start of 2026.
