Israeli Consumer Sentiment Edges Higher in June, IPSOS PCSI Rises to 47.74

Israel’s Thomson Reuters IPSOS Primary Consumer Sentiment Index (PCSI) posted a slight month-on-month improvement in June 2026, signaling a modest uptick in consumer confidence. The index rose to 47.74 in June from 47.38 in May 2026.

The June reading, updated on 11 June 2026, is assessed on a month-over-month basis, comparing the current month’s change to that of the previous month. This places the latest figure marginally above May’s level, suggesting that consumer sentiment has inched higher but remains below the neutral 50-point threshold that often separates pessimism from optimism.

The “Actual” measure reflects how sentiment changed in June relative to May, while the “Previous” measure captures how May’s sentiment compared with April. Together, these readings indicate that while the pace of improvement is moderate, Israeli consumers have become slightly more positive heading into mid-2026.
