Waiting for Confirmation at Area 4371–4376

On the GOLD chart timeframe H1, the last price is around 4371.93, after experiencing a fairly strong rebound from the 4340–4343 area. That movement indicates buyers re-entered after the price was repeatedly held around the support. The last bullish candle also appears quite large and managed to bring the price back close to the 4371–4376 area, which is currently an important zone to determine the direction of the next move. From a price structure perspective, the 4342–4345 area can be noted as the main short-term support. Previously the price moved several times around that area, even making a lower wick down to around 4321, but then rose again. This indicates buyer response at lower prices. As long as the price can hold above that support, the possibility of consolidation or continuation of the rebound remains open. On the upside, the main focus is on 4371–4376. On the chart the price is seen testing that area after previously declining from a higher level. If the H1 candle can close clearly above that zone and the next candle maintains its position above it, that area can turn into support. In that scenario, traders can watch for a move toward 4379–4380, then 4387–4395 as the next resistance areas. Conversely, if the price fails to break 4371–4376 and a bearish rejection candle appears, a more conservative strategy is to wait for a pullback rather than chase the price. The 4364–4366 area can be observed as minor support, while 4357–4360 becomes the next support. If selling pressure intensifies and the price returns below 4342, the short-term rebound structure needs to be re-evaluated because bullish momentum is starting to weaken. The Stochastic indicator (5,3,3) is around 89.91 and 73.36, thus the oscillator has entered a high area. This condition shows upward momentum is strong, but at the same time increases the likelihood of a pullback or consolidation. An overbought Stochastic does not automatically mean the price must fall; therefore, that signal should be used together with candle structure and support-resistance levels. Main strategy: do not make decisions solely because the last candle is bullish. Wait for the H1 close as confirmation. The breakout scenario is the price closing above 4376, then retesting and holding above it. The rejection scenario is the price failing to pass that zone and falling back below 4364, with the next observation target around 4357–4350. For risk management, an invalidation point must be defined before entry, position size adjusted to acceptable risk, and the risk/reward ratio should be calculated beforehand. Thus, 4371–4376 is the main decision zone, while 4342–4345 becomes an important support area. The strategy focus is to wait for confirmation, not to predict the direction with certainty.
