ES Futures – Potential Short Scalp | Untested pdVAH + SP

Today we're monitoring a potential short scalp opportunity on ES Futures, with a key resistance zone around 7,774–7,776. The area offers some interesting confluence: pdVAH at 7,776, which remains untested. SP just below at approximately 7,774. What could make this setup even more interesting is the potential for an overnight high liquidity sweep. Should price continue trading below the current overnight high, leaving liquidity resting above it, we'd ideally like to see a move during the New York session that sweeps those highs and trades into our confluence zone. That would provide an additional layer of confluence, combining a liquidity sweep with our untested VAH and single print area. As always, this is a reaction-dependent setup. Should price reach our zone, we'll monitor the reaction and look for confirmation before considering a short scalp. Let's see how price develops heading into the New York session!
