FX.co ★ Dollar Appreciates Ahead Of U.S. PPI, Retail Sales

U.S. weekly jobless claims for the week ended September 9 and retail sales and producer prices for August are due at 8.30 am ET Thursday. Ahead of these data, the greenback firmed against its major counterparts.

The greenback was worth 147.32 against the yen, 1.0695 against the euro, 1.2460 against the pound and 0.8937 against the franc as of 8:25 am ET.
