FX.co ★ OSI Systems Secures $42 Mln Airport Security Systems Contract From An International Airport

OSI Systems, Inc. (OSIS) announced on Thursday that its Security division has secured a contract valued at approximately $42 million from an international airport. This contract involves the provision of an array of checkpoint and hold baggage screening solutions.

Key elements of the contract include the delivery of the RTT 110 (Real Time Tomography) explosive detection system for hold baggage screening, the Orion 920CT (Computed Tomography) checkpoint screening system paired with the Rapiscan TRS (Tray Return System) for inspecting carry-on items, and the 935DX large tunnel systems designed for air cargo and pallet screening.

Furthermore, OSI Systems will be responsible for providing comprehensive multi-year maintenance, service, and support as part of this agreement.
