FX.co ★ Fastenal Promotes Jeff Watts To Succeed Dan Florness As President; Florness To Continue As CEO

Fastenal Co. (FAST) announced on Friday the appointment of Jeff Watts as President, effective August 1, 2024. Watts will continue his duties as the Chief Sales Officer (CSO), a role he has held since May 2023.

Watts will succeed Dan Florness, who has voluntarily decided to vacate the presidency on the specified date. Florness will maintain his positions as CEO and a member of Fastenal's Board of Directors.

With 28 years of experience at the company, Watts has extensive global sales expertise. His previous roles at Fastenal include Executive Vice President - International Sales, Vice President - International Sales, and Regional Vice President for Canadian operations.

Before these leadership roles, Watts held various sales positions at district and local market levels. His journey with Fastenal began on February 5, 1996, as a part-time branch employee.
