In its financial report for the second quarter released on Friday, Sensient Technologies Corp. (SXT) has revised its full-year 2024 guidance for both adjusted earnings and revenue growth.

For the fiscal year 2024, Sensient Technologies now anticipates earnings between $2.77 and $2.87 per share. Additionally, it projects adjusted earnings growth in the mid-single digits, alongside revenue growth in the mid-to-high single digits, measured in local currency.

This marks an adjustment from the company's previous forecast, which estimated earnings between $2.80 and $2.90 per share, with adjusted earnings growth in the low-to-mid single digits and revenue growth in the mid-single digits in local currency.

Analysts, as surveyed by Thomson Reuters, had forecasted earnings of $3.03 per share on revenues of $1.53 billion for the year. It is important to note that these analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
