FX.co ★ Estonia Trade Deficit Remains Stable In October

Statistics Estonia reported on Monday that Estonia's foreign trade deficit remained unchanged in October compared to the previous year's data. The deficit was recorded at EUR 303 million, identical to the figure from the same month last year.

In October, exports experienced a robust increase of 12% year-on-year, with imports following closely, rising by 10%. In terms of export composition, electrical equipment took the lead, accounting for 16% of the country's total exports. Agricultural products and food preparations, as well as wood and wood-related articles, also made significant contributions to the export figures. Estonia's primary export destinations during this period included Finland, Latvia, Sweden, and Lithuania.
