Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC) revealed on Wednesday that it secured a contract with the Texas Department of Information Resources to deliver comprehensive cybersecurity services aimed at safeguarding state agency networks.

This $170.9 million contract entails SAIC providing security operations services, which will assist customers in the deployment and management of security tools, overall security governance, risk mitigation, and compliance with state, federal, and industry regulations.

As of now, SAIC's stock is trading at $112.29 on the Nasdaq, reflecting a 1.83 percent decrease.
