Japan Interest Rate Decision Due On Thursday

The Bank of Japan is set to conclude its monetary policy meeting on Thursday and will subsequently announce its decision regarding interest rates, marking a relatively quiet day for economic developments in the Asia-Pacific region. It is widely anticipated that the BoJ will maintain its benchmark interest rate at 0.25 percent.

New Zealand is scheduled to release its third-quarter gross domestic product (GDP) figures. Analysts predict a quarterly contraction of 0.2 percent and an annual decline of 0.4 percent. This follows the previous quarter's contractions of 0.2 percent and 0.5 percent year-over-year.

Additionally, Taiwan's de facto central bank will reveal its interest rate decision, with expectations that it will keep the lending rate unchanged at 2.00 percent.
