Mexico Consumer Confidence Falls to Near 3-Year Low

In November 2025, Mexico's consumer confidence index declined for the third consecutive month, registering at 44.2, marking its lowest point since December 2022. This is a drop from the downwardly revised figure of 45.8 in October. All principal sub-indices experienced decreases: the current household situation fell to 51.2 from 52.1 in October, current economic conditions slid to 38.1 from 40.3, future household expectations dipped to 57.4 from 58.3, and the future economic outlook decreased to 43.8 from 46.2. Additionally, the survey revealed a slight reduction in the willingness of Mexican consumers to make major purchases, with the relevant index declining to 30.9 from 31.7.
