In November 2025, Kyrgyzstan experienced a notable increase in industrial production, which rose by 12.7% compared to the previous year. This marked a significant improvement from the 2.2% growth seen in October. The surge was largely attributed to a robust recovery in the manufacturing sector, which expanded by 14.9% following a slight contraction of 0.5% in the prior month. Key contributors to this rebound were basic metals, which saw a growth of 16.2% after previously declining by 5.3%; food products and tobacco, which increased by 9.5% compared to a 6.3% decrease; and coke and refined petroleum products, which jumped 23.3%, up from 4.1% growth. However, output growth experienced a slowdown in other areas: water supply increased by 21.7%, down from 24.3%; electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply grew by 2.9%, compared to 8.9% previously; and mining and quarrying recorded a growth of 1.7%, down from a substantial 21.6%. Over the period from January to October 2025, industrial activity was 10% higher than the same timeframe the previous year.
