Slovenia’s consumer confidence indicator held steady at -22 in March 2026, unchanged from February. Households became slightly more pessimistic about both the general economic outlook for the next year (-27 vs -26) and their personal financial situation over the coming twelve months (-13 vs -12). Expectations for major purchases also continued to worsen (-32 vs -31). In contrast, concerns about unemployment over the next year eased marginally (24 vs 25). Households’ assessment of price developments over the past twelve months remained unchanged at 68, while price expectations for the year ahead rose sharply to 63, up from 52 in February.
