Indonesia Inflation Hits 3-Month Low

Indonesia’s annual inflation slowed to 3.48% in March 2026, down from 4.76% in February, its lowest level since December and below market expectations of 3.60%. Core inflation, which excludes volatile food and government-controlled prices, also eased to 2.52% from 2.63% in February, undershooting forecasts of 2.63%. On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose 0.41%, a moderation from February’s 0.68% increase, but still marking a second consecutive month of price gains.
