Spain welcomed approximately 5.6 million international visitors in February 2026, an increase of 2.8% compared with the same month in 2025 and a new record for February. Over the first two months of 2026, tourist arrivals rose by 2%, reaching nearly 10.7 million.

The United Kingdom remained Spain’s leading source market, with one million visitors in February, up 1.8% year-on-year. France ranked second with 687,434 visitors, although this represented a 4.8% decline, while Germany posted a moderate but positive gain, with arrivals rising 1.4% to 629,604.
