Seasonally adjusted electronic card transactions in New Zealand rose 0.7% month-over-month in March 2026, following a 1.4% increase in February. This was the second consecutive monthly gain, though the pace of growth slowed from the previous month. On an annual basis, total electronic card spending advanced 2.7%, accelerating from a 1.5% increase in February.
