Poland’s industrial output increased by 7.6% year-on-year in June 2026, up from a 4.1% rise in May and above market expectations of 7.2%. This was the fastest pace of growth since September 2025. Output growth also picked up in electricity, gas, steam and air-conditioning supply (16.4% vs. 12.8% in May), as well as in water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation activities (14.7% vs. 11.0%). By contrast, growth moderated in mining and quarrying, easing to 28.3% from 31.0%.

On a monthly basis, industrial production rose 2.0% in June, recovering from a 0.8% decline in May. For the first half of 2026 as a whole, industrial output was 3.9% higher than in the same period a year earlier.
