Slovakia’s consumer price inflation continued to ease in July 2026, with the year-on-year Consumer Price Index (CPI) slowing to 3.3%, down from 3.5% in June 2026. The data, updated on 13 August 2026, confirms a further moderation in price pressures on an annual basis.
Both the current and previous readings are measured as year-over-year changes, comparing each month with the same month a year earlier. The July print indicates that while prices are still rising compared to a year ago, the pace of increase has edged lower for a second consecutive month, suggesting a gradual cooling in inflation dynamics within the Slovak economy.
