FX.co ★ Aflac Global Investments To Acquire Stake In TreeLine Capital

Aflac Inc. (AFL) announced on Thursday that its asset management subsidiary, Aflac Global Investments, has agreed to acquire a 40% stake in Tree Line Capital Partners, a direct lender based in San Francisco that focuses on the lower middle market.

In addition to the acquisition, Aflac Global has committed to allocating a portion of its annual investable cash flow to Tree Line over the coming years.

Founded in 2014, Tree Line Capital Partners currently manages $2.7 billion in assets and specializes in direct lending within the lower middle market.
