V2X Inc. (VVX), a leading aerospace and defense firm, revealed on Wednesday that it has been awarded a $141 million cost-plus-fixed-fee task order. This contract, aimed at continuing the provision of engineering support for the U.S. Navy’s command, control, communications, computer, and intelligence (C4I) systems, extends through July 2029 with an option for a further extension to 2030.
The task order falls under the Navy's Fleet Systems Engineering Team program—a collaboration that V2X has been part of for the past 25 years.
Under this contract, V2X will provide comprehensive C4I systems engineering solutions to the U.S. Navy's afloat force, including command ships, ballistic missile defense ships, strike groups, and select shore facilities. Additionally, the company will deliver systems engineering and technical innovations to quickly integrate new capabilities, addressing emerging threats to Navy networks.
