FX.co ★ Norway Jobless Rate Falls To 3.7%

Norway experienced a notable decline in its unemployment rate in November, reaching its lowest point in nine months, according to the latest labor force survey from Statistics Norway released on Monday.

The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate fell to 3.7 percent in November, down from 4.0 percent in October. This marks the lowest unemployment rate since February, when it was recorded at 3.5 percent.

The number of individuals without employment decreased to 111,000 in November, compared to 122,000 in the previous month, as reported by the agency.

Additionally, data indicated that the employment rate rose slightly to 70.1 percent, up from 70.0 percent in October. On a trend basis, however, the unemployment rate remained stable at 4.0 percent.
