In July 2025, business confidence within Mexico's manufacturing sector saw a slight increase to 49.4, up from a revised 49.2 in June. Despite this uptick, the index remained below the critical 50-point mark for the fifth consecutive month, indicating ongoing pessimism within the industry. Investment willingness experienced a modest rise, moving to 38.2 from 37.4, while the current appraisal of the country's overall situation slightly improved to 48.6 from 48.5. On the other hand, the assessment of individual companies' current status dipped to 51.1 from 51.3. Furthermore, expectations for companies' future performance slightly decreased to 56.6 from 56.7, and confidence in the broader domestic economic landscape slightly declined to 52.5 from 52.6.
