In August 2025, Poland experienced a 0.8% year-on-year decline in corporate employment, aligning with market expectations, with the workforce totaling 6.42 million. This follows a 0.9% decrease in the previous month and marks the 25th consecutive month of declining corporate employment. On a monthly basis, employment levels saw a 0.2% reduction, compared to a 0.1% decrease in the prior period. Simultaneously, the average monthly gross salary rose by 7.1% compared to the previous year, reaching PLN 8,769.1.
