In September 2025, Spain's consumer confidence index decreased to 81.5, dropping from a six-month peak of 82.9 in July and 84.8 in the same month the previous year. This decline was attributed to a more pessimistic view of the current economic circumstances, with evaluations dropping to 77.5 from 81.8 in July. On the brighter side, household expectations improved, reaching their highest level since May at 85.5, compared to 84.1 previously.
