In November 2025, consumer prices in Switzerland remained stable compared to the same month the previous year, maintaining the status quo following a 0.1% increase in October, which was contrary to market expectations predicting a 0.1% increase. The decline in prices persisted across several categories: food and non-alcoholic beverages saw a decrease of 0.4%, slightly less than the 0.5% decline in October; clothing and footwear dropped by 0.3% compared to a 0.4% reduction previously; household goods and services experienced a substantial decline of 2.6%, following a 1.8% fall; and transport prices dropped by 1.7%, consistent with the previous month. Meanwhile, healthcare prices remained unchanged. On a monthly scale, prices experienced a 0.2% decrease in November, following a 0.3% decrease in October, aligning with market projections.
