Chile's annual inflation rate held steady at 3.4% in November 2025, maintaining the three-year low it reached in the previous month. Across various categories, price changes were minimal. Notably, the costs for food and non-alcoholic beverages experienced an uptick, increasing to 3.6% from 3.1% in October. Similarly, healthcare costs rose to 4.4% from 4.2%, transport costs increased to 1.2% from 0.8%, and education costs saw a marginal rise to 5.3% from 5.2%. In contrast, clothing and footwear continued to experience deflation, but at a reduced rate of -1.8% compared to -3% previously. On the other hand, there was a slowdown in price increases for alcoholic beverages and tobacco, down to 2.2% from 3.6%, as well as for housing and utilities, which eased to 6.7% from 6.9%. The categories of recreation, sports, and culture also saw inflation ease to 1.9% from 3.2%. Restaurant and lodging services remained stable at 6.6%, while household equipment and maintenance experienced no change from their previous rate, recording a 0%. On a month-to-month basis, consumer prices rose by 0.3%, following a period of stagnation in October.
