In November 2025, Brazil saw a notable decline in car production, which decreased by 11.6% to 219,100 units compared to figures from October. Year-on-year, there was an 8.2% reduction in output. Vehicle sales also saw a dip, falling 8.5% month-on-month to 238,600 units, while exports registered a 12% decline to 35,700 units. Despite this November downturn, cumulative production for the first 11 months of 2025 increased to 2.4 million units, marking a 4.1% rise over the same period in 2024. Nevertheless, this growth has failed to meet industry expectations. Igor Calvet, President of Anfavea, remarked, "Production for the January to November period is 4.1% higher than last year, but it lags behind our 2025 forecasts, keeping us vigilant in recent months." He emphasized that while the industry anticipates improved sales in December, driven by the success of the Auto Show, challenges persist in the heavy vehicle sector, which remains susceptible to shifts in financing conditions.
