Kosovo Inflation Accelerates in November

In November 2025, Kosovo's annual inflation rate accelerated to 5.3%, marking the swiftest increase since April 2023 and rising from 5.1% in October. This upsurge was primarily propelled by notable hikes in the prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages, which climbed to 8.7% from October's 8.0%. Additionally, transport costs increased to 1.5% from 1.1%, alcoholic beverages and tobacco saw a rise to 5.7% from 5.3%, and miscellaneous goods and services went up to 3.4% from 2.8%. However, these increases were somewhat counterbalanced by a moderation in the inflation rates for furniture, household appliances, and routine maintenance, which decreased to 2.9% from 3.1%; housing and utilities fell to 8.8% from 9.8%; recreation and culture dropped to 0.9% from 1.9%; and prices for restaurants and hotels slightly decreased to 8.5% from 8.7%. On a month-to-month basis, consumer prices grew by 0.4% in November, a slowdown from the 0.6% rise observed in October.
