In November 2025, Chile's IMACEC economic activity index experienced a year-on-year increase of 1.2%, decelerating from October's 2.2% growth. The services sector saw a rise of 1.9%, primarily propelled by the personal services sector, notably in health services, although there was a reduction in transport services. Commercial activity saw a robust increase of 5.5%, with all components showing improvement, spearheaded by a notable surge in vehicle sales. However, goods production witnessed a decline of 1.3%, attributed to a drop in mining output owing to decreased copper extraction and a downturn in other goods associated with weakened electricity generation. Meanwhile, industrial activity edged up by 0.3%, as increased fuel refining counterbalanced a decrease in beverage production. When adjusted for seasonal variations, the overall activity saw a month-on-month decline of 0.6%.
