In November 2025, Spain's industrial production experienced significant growth, expanding by 4.5% compared to the same period the previous year. This marks a noticeable acceleration from the 1.2% increase observed in October and represents the most robust growth since July 2022. The surge was primarily fueled by substantial gains in energy output, which rose by 7.2% compared to 3.8% in the prior month, as well as notable increases in the production of non-durable consumer goods, which climbed from 0.4% to 4.0%, and intermediate goods, which went up from 1.7% to 3.2%. Additionally, the production of capital goods returned to positive growth, increasing by 0.9% following a 1.5% decline the previous month. Conversely, the output of durable consumer goods decreased by 3.3%, countering the 0.9% increase recorded in October. On a monthly basis, industrial activity grew by 1.0% in November, building on a 0.6% rise in October.
