Palestine GDP Growth Rises 1.4% in Q3

In the third quarter of 2025, Palestine's economy experienced a 1.4% year-over-year growth, reflecting a deceleration from the 3.2% increase observed during the preceding quarter. This period marks the fourth consecutive quarter of economic expansion, although it represents the most modest growth rate within this sequence. The sluggish growth was primarily attributable to downturns in several sectors: wholesale and retail trade (-1.8%), financial and insurance services (-2.1%), general services (-1.6%), public administration and defense (-4.1%), as well as transportation and storage (-2.8%). Conversely, there were notable increases in other areas, with agriculture, forestry, and fishing growing by 7.6%, mining, manufacturing, electricity, and water surging by 15.8%, construction rising by 4.1%, and information and communication expanding by 8.2%. On a quarter-to-quarter basis, the GDP rose by 1.9% in Q3 2025, rebounding from a 1.9% contraction in the previous quarter.
