FX.co ★ Belgium Industrial Output Growth Slows

In November 2025, Belgium experienced a 0.5% year-on-year increase in industrial production, marking a slowdown from the 1.5% growth recorded in the previous month after upward revision. The manufacturing sector saw moderated growth, increasing by 1.1% compared to 3.4% in October. On the other hand, the mining and quarrying sector experienced a significant decline, with output plummeting by 8.7%, following a modest 0.9% growth. The production of electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply also witnessed a decline, albeit at a less severe rate of 5.3% compared to the previous month's 16.2% drop. On a seasonally adjusted month-to-month basis, industrial output decreased by 2.3% in November, following a revised 2% reduction in October.
