In the final quarter of 2025, Belgium's economy saw a modest expansion of 0.2% compared to the previous quarter, according to preliminary data. This represents a slight decrease from the 0.3% growth noted in the preceding quarter. The industrial sector experienced an uptick of 0.6%, with construction climbing 0.4% and services witnessing a 0.3% increase. On an annual basis, the GDP showed a 1.1% rise, marking the most robust growth since the third quarter of 2024, and slightly higher than the 1.0% increase observed in the previous two quarters. Overall, for the year 2025, the economy grew by 1%, maintaining the same growth rate as in 2024. Notably, the construction sector surged by 3.8%, while the services sector expanded by 0.9% and the industrial sector inched up by 0.2%.
