Notably, fully electric vehicles demonstrated the strongest growth, as their market share increased by 2 percentage points compared to the 2025 annual average, reaching 36.7% and positioning them just behind gasoline-powered models. According to FEBIAC, this January decline should not be considered indicative of the overall trends expected in 2026, as the commercial benefits of the 102nd Brussels Motor Show are likely to become evident in the coming months.
