FX.co ★ Turkey Economic Confidence Hits Highest in Nearly a Year

The Economic Confidence Index rose to 100.7 in February 2026, up from 99.4 in each of the previous two months, reaching its highest level since March 2025. Retail trade confidence recorded an even sharper improvement, increasing to 115.9 from 112.6 in January. The consumer confidence index also strengthened, rising to 85.7 from 83.7, indicating a continued recovery in household sentiment. Sentiment in the real sector improved as well, with the index advancing to 104.1 from 103.0, reflecting slightly more optimistic expectations among producers. In contrast, the services confidence index remained unchanged at 113.8, while the construction confidence index declined to 83.9 from 85.7.
