Estonian producer prices increased by 4.3% year-on-year in January 2026, swinging from a 0.5% decline in December and reaching their highest level since March 2025. Energy-related costs also surged, with prices for electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply rebounding 44.3% after an 8.2% drop in the prior month. Meanwhile, prices in water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation activities were stable at a 1.8% increase. By contrast, price growth in mining and quarrying moderated to 1.6% from 2.6%.
On a monthly basis, producer prices rose 5.7% in January, reversing a 1.1% decline recorded in December.
