Bosnia and Herzegovina Inflation Slows to 11-Month Low

Annual inflation in Bosnia and Herzegovina slowed to 3.3% in February 2026, down from 3.6% in January, reaching its lowest level since March 2025. Price growth decelerated in several categories, including food and non-alcoholic beverages (3.9% vs. 4.6% in January), alcoholic beverages and tobacco (3.1% vs. 3.6%), restaurants and hotels (6.7% vs. 7.2%), and recreation and culture (4.6% vs. 5.0%).

At the same time, prices rose at a faster pace for housing and utilities (8.3% vs. 7.1%), furnishings and household equipment (2.0% vs. 1.7%), health (6.2% vs. 6.0%), and education (3.4% vs. 3.3%), while communication costs remained stable at 1.5%. On a monthly basis, consumer prices increased by 0.5%, following a 0.9% rise in the previous month.
