FX.co ★ Albania GDP Growth Slows to 3.8% in Q4

Albania’s GDP grew by 3.8% year-on-year in Q4 2025, edging down slightly from the 3.9% expansion recorded in Q3. The strongest positive contributions came from public administration, education and health (8.3%); construction (7.4%); real estate activities (6.3%); financial and insurance services (2.8%); trade, transport, accommodation and food services (1.1%); arts, entertainment and recreation (0.8%); and professional and administrative services (0.1%). In contrast, output declined in information and communication (-3.6%); agriculture, forestry and fishing (-2.2%); and industry, electricity and water (-1.6%).

On the expenditure side, household consumption increased by 3.0%, investment rose by 6.7%, government spending grew by 1.8%, exports surged by 10.7% and imports advanced by 6.6%. On a quarterly basis, GDP expanded by 0.9%. For the full year 2025, the economy grew by 3.8% compared with 2024.
