FX.co ★ Paraguay GDP Annual Growth Eases in Q4

Paraguay’s GDP grew by 6.2% year-on-year in Q4 2025, slightly below the 6.7% expansion recorded in the previous quarter. Growth was supported by solid activity in services (up 5.7% vs 6.6% in Q3) and in the electricity and water sector (up 13.2% vs 8.3%). Agriculture posted a sharp rebound, with output surging 20.8% compared with 15.7% in Q3.

Meanwhile, growth accelerated in construction (4.3% vs 3.4%) and in the combined sector of livestock, forestry, fishing, and mining (3.9% vs 3.0%). In contrast, manufacturing growth slowed, easing to 3.7% from 7.3% in the previous quarter. On the demand side, domestic demand increased by 6.7%, edging up from 6.2% in Q3.
