US private employers added an average of 39,250 jobs per week over the four weeks ending March 28, 2026, according to the ADP Research Institute. This marks a sharp increase from the 26,000 weekly jobs created in the previous period and represents the fourth straight week of strengthening hiring. Weekly job creation has now risen to its highest level since tracking began in September 2025.
