FX.co ★ Finland Producer Prices Ease in March

Finland’s producer prices rose 2.6% year-on-year in March 2026, slowing from a 3.8% increase in February. Price growth moderated in water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation services (4.5% vs 10.4% in February), while costs for electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply plunged (-8.3% vs 41.4%).

By contrast, prices for manufactured products accelerated (3.5% vs 0.2%), driven by higher costs in wearing apparel (1.7% vs 1.2%), printing and reproduction services of recorded media (1.7% vs 0.5%), basic metals (8.3% vs 6.2%), electrical equipment (3% vs 2.1%), and furniture (3.8% vs 3.7%). At the same time, prices in mining and quarrying also picked up (8% vs 5.7%).

On a monthly basis, producer prices fell 1.4% in March, reversing a 1.9% increase in the previous month.
