Lithuania’s industrial production increased by 7.5% year-on-year in April 2026, following an upwardly revised 5.0% rise in March. This was the strongest expansion in industrial activity since March 2025, driven by a rebound in mining and quarrying output (up 6.3% vs down 4.6% in March). Manufacturing production also continued to grow, though at a slower pace (8.1% vs 10.8%), while the decline in electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply moderated (-4.9% vs -7.4%). In contrast, output in water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation services contracted further (-12.0% vs -10.8%). On a monthly basis, industrial production fell by 1.6% in April, after an upwardly revised 3.3% increase in the previous month.
