FX.co ★ Bulgaria Construction Output Up 6.6% YoY

Construction output in Bulgaria increased by 6.6% year-on-year in April 2026, slightly above the downwardly revised 6.5% expansion recorded in March. Growth eased across all main segments: building construction slowed to 12.5% from 12.6%, civil engineering works decelerated to 3.1% from 5.7%, and specialized construction activities cooled to 3% from 3.9%.

On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, total construction output edged down by 0.1% in April, after a 0.2% decline in March. Building construction contracted by 0.3% and civil engineering by 0.2%, while specialized construction activities posted a 0.4% increase.
