FX.co ★ Irish Residential Property Price Growth Eases Slightly in April

Year-on-year growth in Irish residential property prices slowed modestly in April 2026, with the annual rate easing to 6.20% from 6.50% in March 2026.

The figures, updated on 17 June 2026, show that while property values continued to rise compared with April a year earlier, the pace of increase has edged down. The previous month’s reading of 6.50% likewise compared prices in March 2026 with those in March a year earlier, while the latest figure reflects the change between April 2026 and April of the prior year.

The marginal deceleration suggests that, although demand in Ireland’s housing market remains robust on a year-over-year basis, upward price pressures may be beginning to cool slightly as the second quarter of 2026 progresses.
