European Stocks Set for Weaker Open

European equity markets were poised to open lower on Friday as investors turned more cautious at the end of a pivotal week marked by a landmark US–Iran peace agreement and a series of major central bank policy decisions. Technology stocks were also set to come under pressure after Accenture cut its full-year revenue growth forecast, pointing to a weaker demand environment.

In Europe, attention will center on Germany’s producer price index, as well as UK retail sales and consumer confidence data, for further insight into the region’s economic trajectory. With no significant corporate earnings releases on the calendar, market focus is expected to remain firmly on macroeconomic indicators and monetary policy signals.

In premarket trading, Euro Stoxx 50 futures fell 0.4%, while Stoxx 600 futures slipped 0.2%, indicating a softer open for European equities.
